On May 3rd, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mianyang Special Vehicle Production Base project of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group was held at the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Industrial Park in the High tech Zone, marking a new chapter in Shandong Province's industrial assistance to the Sichuan disaster area.

The Mianyang Special Vehicle Production Base Project of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group is located in the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Industrial Park of Mianyang Science and Technology City High tech Zone. It will be constructed in two phases and jointly invested by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, Mianyang Fulin Group, and Chengdu Heping Vehicle Industry, with China National Heavy Duty Truck Group holding the controlling stake. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can produce 7000 modified and specialized vehicles within three years, with a sales revenue of 2.5 billion yuan. The second phase will build a production base for China National Heavy Duty Truck Group's Southwest modification, special and professional vehicles, with a production capacity of 12000 vehicles and a sales revenue of 3.5 billion yuan.

 

China National Heavy Duty Truck Group actively responded to the call and supported the reconstruction of disaster areas with practical actions, laying out a heavy-duty vehicle base with good market prospects and investment benefits in Mianyang. This is another significant contribution made by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group to the recovery and reconstruction of the disaster stricken areas, marking a new page in Shandong Province's industrial assistance to the Sichuan disaster stricken areas, and also an important witness to the blood thicker than water bond between the people of Sichuan and Shandong. The commencement of the project construction will undoubtedly promote the breakthrough development of Mianyang's automobile whole vehicle and parts industry, and promote the continuous development and growth of Mianyang's industrial economy. In his speech, Xu Zhenxi said that the landing of the Mianyang Special Vehicle Production Base project of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group in the disaster area reflects the guiding principle of combining "blood transfusion" and "blood making" in Shandong's aid construction, and combining current and long-term development.
